Take Action to Teach Your Legislator a Lesson!

Education cuts are robbing our kids of their futures and threatening their safety.

North Carolina educators are already making $10,000 less than the national average.1 Then, your legislator voted to give huge tax breaks to corporations2 instead of raising educators' pay and giving classrooms the resources they need.

The funding gap is now being filled by educators, who spend $500 - $1,000 per year for classroom supplies3 so that our kids have the tools they need.

Our kids and educators are already stuck in underfunded schools, and now we’re asking them to go back to crowded, under-resourced classrooms in the middle of a pandemic. If your legislator thinks there’s money for corporate tax breaks, why isn’t there money for our kids’ education?

Our public schools are vital for our communities, our families, and our future. Let’s fund them like it.
